Each Sea Wench Naturals creation is handcrafted in small batches using fresh, natural, and wild-harvested ingredients. To help you preserve their freshness, potency, and beauty, please follow these simple care tips.

General Care

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Keep all lids and caps tightly sealed after each use to prevent oxidation or contamination.
• Use clean, dry hands or a spoon to remove product from jars or tins. this helps avoid introducing water or bacteria.
• Avoid storing skincare products in humid areas, such as bathrooms, for extended periods without sealing, as moisture can compromise the natural ingredients.
• Natural products can vary in colour, texture, or scent over time; this is normal and part of their handmade nature.

Temperature Care

Heat:

• Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may cause melting or alteration of texture (especially in balms, butters, and oils).
• If melting occurs, simply place the product in a cool area and allow it to re-solidify naturally.
• If you notice the separation of oils, simply give it a good stir once it has cooled to room temperature.

Cold:

• Extremely cold temperatures can cause oils or butters to solidify. Warm the container gently in your hands before use.
• Never leave your products in a hot vehicle, direct sunlight, or outdoors in freezing conditions.

Shelf Life of Skincare

Our formulations are made with natural botanicals and oils, so their lifespan depends on proper care and storage. Most products will remain fresh for 3-6 months after opening when stored correctly.

If you notice a significant change in scent, texture, or colour that seems unusual, we recommend discontinuing use.

What Not to Do

• Do not expose your products to direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Do not add water or mix in other ingredients; this can cause spoilage.
• Do not leave products outdoors or in mailboxes after delivery in hot or cold weather.
• Do not store near heating vents, windowsills, or showers.
• Do not use if the product’s scent or consistency changes significantly.

Eco & Reuse Note

Many of our containers are reusable or recyclable. Once your product is finished, wash and repurpose your jars and bottles, or recycle them according to local guidelines.
